About the artist
Svetlana is a London-based British-Russian contemporary artist who emerged onto the art scene with a unique style that captures the essence of her diverse cultural background.
She studied Academic Painting, Drawing, and Art History at an Art College in her native Russia, with additional studies in interior design and ceramics.
While working with a variety of techniques Svetlana’s artistic repertoire spans several styles, including realism, surrealism, and abstract art.
She enjoys expressing the personalities and emotions of her subjects through the use of vibrant colours and dynamic movement.
Svetlana favours using oil colours for her creations, but also works with pastels and charcoal. She has been painting professionally for many years now with great success.
